Fractional CO₂ laser
Creates microscopic thermal columns that drive collagen remodelling.
Our most effective tool for atrophic acne scarring, and the harshest. It works on texture, not on pigment. Results appear gradually over 3–6 months after the last session, not after the session itself. Deep ice-pick scars respond less than boxcar and rolling scars — and we say so before session one, not after session three.

- Isotretinoin within the last 6 months
- History of keloid scarring
- Active infection, or herpes not covered by antivirals
- Pregnancy
- Sun exposure or tanning in the last fortnight

Before the session
- Stop topical retinoids one week before
- Prophylactic antivirals if you have a herpes history
- Do not attend with tanned skin

- Occlusive ointment every two hours for the first 3 days
- SPF 50+ daily for 3 months — this is what prevents post-laser pigmentation
- Do not pick the crusts
