An adjunct, not a primary treatment. It helps in diffuse shedding, post-partum shedding, and iron-deficiency shedding — and it works far better alongside treatment of the underlying cause. Advanced androgenetic alopecia does not respond, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling sessions.
