Medical pigmentation treatment
Reduces melanin production and prevents the patches returning.
Melasma in particular is a chronic condition — it is controlled, not cured. Anyone promising permanent removal is lying. The core treatment is topical plus sun protection; laser comes later and only for selected cases, because the wrong laser worsens melasma rather than improving it.
